Ben Vospers 1.8t Mk2 Golf
NEWSFLASH !!!
Build Stage 2 -
About Time !!!
So, after a few months of "no car" due to running issues
with the ecu/electronics (spluttering and cutting out etc) and not wanting
to spend onwards of a thousand pounds plus on an ecu setup the solution is
now to run the car on megasquirt 2 (v3.0).
The ecu will be relocated to the inside (the oem ecu was
possibly getting wet) and the current engine and car wiring loom will be
binned as we think there is a problem with that too.
A few other mods will be carried out at the same time and I am aiming for
over 200bhp.
The shopping list for now is;
Megasquirt v3.0 ecu
Wideband O2 sensor
1.8t Cable throttle body
A4 1.8 20v non-turbo coil (wasted spark)
Corrado pedal box (hydro clutch)
Car wiring loom
Intercooler
Check back soon for pics and more info/progress.
